A deathcore band that normally stays out of politics turned a UK metal festival into a platform for explicit anti-Israel sloganeering. The lyric targets Zion itself, not Israeli policy, which removes any ambiguity about what is being condemned. Fans who came for catharsis got an unexpected political sermon. The question is whether this becomes a one-off provocation or a signal that festival season will see more acts weaponizing the stage.
